The late November - early December period is commonly viewed as the best period for chasing storms in Eastern Australia as the passage of frontal systems with associated troughs bring the right conditions for storms to fire. Thunder Down Under (TDU), as it is termed, is an informally arranged period when many storm chasers hit the roads to observe and capture these storms on film. We’ll try and bring together as many of their reports as we can find over this period.
