La Nina Fires up the 2007 Storm Season

The past few weeks have produced an amazing number of storms. With a series of troughs well entrenched in NSW and the La Nina event providing the moisture that been missing in previous years its shaping to be one of the best storms season in Eastern NSW for quite some years. Oh and of course the Top End has fired up as well.

Is the Collector Supercell the most photographed storm in Australia ever? Apparently there where 17 people surrounding the beast, some reports with more to come I’m sure:

North East NSW and SE Queensland had their share late October - early November and there was that tornado thing as well (see below).
